CJ ONE makes strides in customer satisfaction and cultural support, catering cultural activities to 40,000 members in the first half of 2017
[CJ ONE = July 7, 2017] CJ’s integrated lifestyle membership service, CJ ONE (www.cjone.com), provided different cultural benefits to its VIP members, and more than 40,000 members enjoyed these benefits in the first half of the year.
Usually, appreciation events are popular culture oriented, like pop singer concerts, but CJ ONE is launching a series of different cultural marketing activities for its customers through performances and exhibitions that are tailored to CJ’s image as a culture creator and lifestyle leader.
CJ ONE used to hold cultural events organized around internal content produced by the CJ Group, but it is expanding its external partnerships from this year, presenting opportunities for novel cultural experiences by inviting its customers to select performances in diverse genres such as photo exhibitions, art exhibitions, and musicals.
This move by CJ ONE was positively evaluated by the members, who appreciated the high level of cultural content unlike in other membership events. It drew high marks in customer satisfaction, with more than 1 million members visiting the events page and over 40,000 members participating directly in the events.
In February this year, VIP members were invited to the musical “Bodyguard,” followed by a seasonal White Day event in March, namely, exclusively discounted admission to the Gr?vin Museum, a wax museum of international celebrities, which is ideal for dating couples.
In addition, in collaboration with the Daelim Museum, which has a wide fan base among young visitors, CJ ONE held the Nick Knight photo exhibition in March and the Todd Selby exhibition from April to May, which received favorable responses from its members. The target visitors for the museum coincided with the age group of CJ ONE VIP members, which caused the increase in the rate of CJ ONE member visits during the event period.
Furthermore, in June, CJ ONE held an exclusive “1 + 1” ticket event for the Maurice de Vlaminck exhibition at the Seoul Arts Center to share artistic classical inspiration. By providing a free ticket for a companion of any visiting VIP member, CJ ONE actively promotes the opportunity to enjoy art and culture and contributes to their popularity.
In the second half of the year, CJ ONE will continue to offer its cultural benefit promotion by expanding the benefits to various exhibition halls and museums. The plan is to strengthen CJ's corporate image as a cultural vanguard and creator by extending to the general members in the coming fourth quarter the cultural benefits currently offered only to VIP members.
At present, there is a thematic exhibition of the widely beloved anime “Detective Conan,” which will run until July 9. The event provides a free ticket for one companion to those who will download a VIP discount ticket from the CJ ONE app. From July 14 to 23, there will be a “1 + 1” ticket event for VIP members to an exhibition of Karim Rashid, one of the world’s top three designers.
“CJ ONE has been carrying out differentiated cultural events in keeping with its corporate culture as a lifestyle leader,” said Yeong-rok Kim, a team leader at CJ ONE. “We will continue to repay the love of our customers by presenting select cultural events that all members of CJ ONE, including family, friends, and couples, can fully enjoy and appreciate.” (End)
