- Establishing a system for early detection of process and quality anomalies through integrated analysis of Orion's equipment and process data.

- Deploying a scalable architecture to enable future AI process optimization and global expansion.

- Ensuring stable system implementation leveraging CJ OliveNetworks' specialized food-tech expertise and AX capabilities.

CJ OliveNetworks has secured a contract to build a next-generation quality management system for Orion and has commenced full-scale project implementation.

Orion is pursuing this project to improve its existing systems and establish a data-driven, intelligent quality management framework as a foundation for expanding its global business.

CJ OliveNetworks will apply its specialized know-how and experience in smart manufacturing industries such as food and beverage, beauty, and bio/pharmaceuticals to this project. The focus is on monitoring and analyzing Orion's equipment and process data in real time to detect quality anomalies in advance.

Notably, the next-generation quality management system being built is based on Statistical Process Control (SPC), designed to analyze equipment and process data through various charts and patterns to identify early signs of quality issues.

Going beyond the existing method of merely detecting threshold violations, the system will also reflect data patterns to preemptively detect errors, while custom reporting features will improve work efficiency.

Through this project, Orion expects to enhance its quality management capabilities and strengthen a proactive, prevention-oriented quality control framework.

The project will ensure the stable migration of existing systems while providing an intuitive UI/UX to improve usability and business continuity. Through integration with ERP and groupware systems, as well as scalable and multilingual system architecture, it will also establish a foundation for global operations.

CJ OliveNetworks holds proven manufacturing AX capabilities backed by successful project experience in the food/retail industry and a team of roughly 200 specialized personnel. Based on this, the company plans to successfully carry out Orion’s next-generation quality management system project as well.

Won-chul Song, Head of Smart Logistics/Factory at CJ OliveNetworks, said, "The Orion project demonstrates how data-driven quality management can strengthen manufacturing operations and enable more proactive quality control.”, adding, "CJ OliveNetworks will continue to enhance clients' quality competitiveness and productivity based on our manufacturing/logistics AX capabilities."
