CJ OliveNetworks operates Work-Learning Balance programs to support the growth of its employees, improving work efficiency and increasing employee satisfaction.

CJ OliveNetworks' 'Open Class Learning Club' is a program in which employees self-directedly form learning groups, study for up to 12 weeks, submit results, and receive support for tuition.

The Learning Club, which started in 2020, is currently in its 8th season.

Learning clubs can be opened in three types: ▲Task-solving type for the purpose of solving work-related problems or sharing know-how, ▲Capacity development type for improving work-related skills, and ▲Goal achievement type for preparing for work-related tests.

A total of 255 clubs have been operated as of this year, and the cumulative number of participating employees is approximately 1,700. This is the result of most employees participating in the Learning Club program.

CJ OliveNetworks is creating meaningful results by applying the results to practice to enhance technical capabilities and improve work efficiency through the learning club, thereby increasing customer satisfaction.

Last season 7’s best practice, “Automated Classification through Business Announcement Text Analysis,” automatically analyzed and classified the contents of external business announcement to provide necessary information to sales representatives. In order to provide more accurate information, approximately 460,000 pieces of data equivalent to 3 years of Public Procurement Service announcements were analyzed to provide various insights that can be used for decision-making, such as market conditions and ordering party information.

Through this, sales representatives were able to share accurate information in a short period of time without having to go to the relevant site, thereby increasing work efficiency.

The goal-achievement club also achieved results in obtaining qualifications to enhance work expertise, such as Data Analysis Associate Professional (ADsP), Agile-based Project Management Professional (PMI-ACP), AWS certification, and Information and Communications Supervisory Service certifications by last year, with more than 50% of its members obtaining qualifications.

CJ OliveNetworks is expanding its learning club, which was previously operated twice a year, to five seasons to reflect the high learning participation rate of its employees and is providing continuous support for learning. It also plans to establish a club linked to the company’s technical certification system to support jobs and capacity building and learning based on technology.

“The Learning Club is a learning community for its members that enables work-life balance, which is leading to good results such as improved work efficiency and increased business orders,” said Lee Yong-wook, HR Manager of CJ OliveNetworks. In addition, we are striving to establish a healthy organizational culture by operating a healthcare program that systematically manages employees’ health risk factors.”

Meanwhile, CJ OliveNetworks operates the ‘Olneh Bookstore’ where employees can freely borrow and read more than 30 new books every month. It provides books from various fields such as professional books, poetry collections, original texts, and self-development books, helping employees broaden their knowledge in humanities and convergent thinking skills in addition to their professional expertise.
