CJ OliveNetworks has won a contract for the IT service operation project for Seegene, a global ‘total solution’ company for molecular diagnostics.

CJ OliveNetworks will support the advancement of Seegene's business through ITO services such as IT system operation and IT strategy for three years until 2026.

Founded in 2000, Seegene is a global molecular diagnostics company that develops and manufactures molecular diagnostic reagents that identify the cause of diseases through genetic analysis. Currently it has seven overseas corporations in the US, Italy, and Germany.

Seegene pursued this business to ensure the stable and efficient operation of integrated systems as well as to advance IT business capabilities so that it can organically operate business between major overseas corporations including Korea.

CJ OliveNetworks is successfully performing ITO services for domestic and international companies in the bio industry such as CJ Bioscience, HK Inno.N, and Korea Kolmar. In addition, it is also responsible for the global ITO of CJ Wellcare and CJ Feed & Care.

Winning a contract this time is the result of CJ OliveNetworks being recognized for its innovative IT planning capabilities in the bio industry and its continuous operation of stable IT services.

CJ OliveNetworks will operate Seegene's current ERP system more efficiently and strengthen its IT governance system, carrying out the business as Seegene's DX partner. In particular, it will support major overseas corporations such as Italy and Germany to perform tasks such as purchasing, manufacturing, sales, and financial management in a single system by operating a global standard system (Global Single Instance).

In addition, in order to further enhance Seegene's global competitiveness, it plans to establish an advanced ITO system such as quality control and failure prevention through constant system monitoring and IT strategy consulting, thereby achieving not only efficient system operation but also improving the quality of IT service.
