On its 30th anniversary, CJ OliveNetworks reaffirmed its vision as a "Lifestyle Innovation Company Leading Changes in Space and Daily Life" and pledged a leap toward a new future.

On October 14th, the company's founding anniversary, CEO In-sang Yoo and key executives gathered to reflect on three decades of achievements and share the strategy to transition into a Top 5 AX (AI Transformation) and DX (Digital Transformation) company in Korea by 2030.

- 30 Years of Solid Growth: 52x Revenue and 10x Workforce Increase

Since its inception in 1995, CJ OliveNetworks has provided IT services across lifestyle sectors including manufacturing, retail, logistics, and media. The company has grown steadily by supporting stable IT services-such as system operation, development, maintenance, security, and networking-for CJ Group and the affiliates. From a revenue of 14 billion KRW at its founding, the company has grown approximately 52-fold, reaching 727.7 billion KRW as of 2024.

This trajectory is also evident in its scale. Starting with 150 engineers in 1995, the workforce grew to 880 in 2015 and reached 1,500 employees this year. This expansion is backed by robust profitability; the company has remained in the black for over 20 consecutive years since 2001, with operating profit rising to 57.4 billion KRW in 2024.

- A Leap Forward: "Top 5 AX/DX Company" by 2030

CJ OliveNetworks is accelerating qualitative and quantitative growth in its core businesses-focused on CJ Group’s four major sectors (Food and Food Services, Bio, Logistics & Retail, and Entertainment & Media)-while strengthening its AI, Big Data, and Cloud capabilities to lead the AX era.

Smart Manufacturing & Logistics: The company is solidifying its market leadership with over 100 clients across food, beverage, pharma, bio, and beauty. High-profile projects include HWAYO (premium liquor), OB Beer, and hy’s new Nonsan plant, as well as global production facility builds for HITEJINRO.

Broadcasting & Media IT: This sector has seen remarkable growth, successfully executing 300 billion KRW worth of projects over the last five years. With a specialized workforce of 150 experts, the company now supports virtual studio construction and high-tech special broadcasting for global concerts, e-sports, and live sports.

- Strategic Goals and Global Expansion

CJ OliveNetworks aims to increase the share of revenue from non-CJ Group clients from 32% (2024) to 43% by 2028 while diversifying its portfolio to boost corporate value. To become a "Top 5 AX/DX Company" by 2030, the company will focus on expanding new businesses, strengthening technical leadership, and securing top-tier talent.

Global expansion is also a priority. Building on its experience operating Global Development Centers (GDCs) and subsidiaries in China and Vietnam, the company is now pushing for business expansion into the United States and other global markets.

"On our 30th anniversary, CJ OliveNetworks is moving beyond stable growth to embrace a culture of challenge and innovation," said CEO In-sang Yoo. "Based on an organizational culture that does not fear failure and the courage of our members to try new things, let us create this journey toward a new future together."
