CJ OliveNetworks is demonstrating unrivaled market competitiveness by securing a series of high-profile IT projects in the broadcasting and media sectors.

Broadcasting and media IT services-one of CJ OliveNetworks' core business pillars-encompass the entire project lifecycle, including planning, consulting, development, networking, and infrastructure deployment. With a dedicated team of over 150 specialists, the company boasts extensive experience in building comprehensive broadcasting systems, ranging from newsroom systems for major Korean broadcasters to digital archives, Content Management Systems (CMS), and distribution platforms.

CJ OliveNetworks was recently awarded the contract for the Next-Generation Newsroom Computer System (NRCS) for MBN, a major broadcasting channel.

The project focuses on three key areas: developing user-centric systems for news reporting, programming, and advertising; implementing a secure smart-work environment through enhanced security protocols; providing systematic business management support.

By leveraging its specialized workforce and four core strategies-industry expertise, digital workflow innovation, access control-based security, and client-led change management-CJ OliveNetworks aims to realize AI Transformation (AX) within the newsroom environment. Scheduled for its official launch this October, the system is expected to maximize news production efficiency and secure future competitiveness by providing a sustainable infrastructure that responds dynamically to the rapidly changing media landscape.

In addition to the MBN project, CJ OliveNetworks recently completed a major broadcasting system upgrade for "LoL PARK," the dedicated eSports arena for the popular online game 'League of Legends (LoL)'.

This project involved modernizing aging equipment, including camera systems, real-time communication devices for players and broadcasters, and live transmission gear. Utilizing its proprietary infrastructure technology and operational know-how, CJ OliveNetworks successfully created a more vivid, high-definition, and immersive viewing environment for fans.

"Securing these projects is a testament to CJ OliveNetworks' industry-leading IT capabilities and operational excellence," said Bong-ho Shin, Head of the Broadcasting & Media Business Division at CJ OliveNetworks. "We will continue to serve as a strategic partner leading the digital transformation of the media industry, helping our clients realize business value through our differentiated technological expertise," he said.
