tourists.
- Users can make payments at
offline stores of CJ ONE affiliated brands such as Olive Young, CGV, Tous Les

CJ
ONE, a lifestyle membership service by CJ OliveNetworks, entered into a
strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Travel Wallet to extend the
member benefits and services.
Travel
Wallet is a Fintech company specializing in foreign currency payments. It is
No. 1 in the travel card market in terms of users and the amount of payments,
allowing overseas online and offline payments 46 currencies.
The
MOU signing ceremony was held at the headquarters of CJ OliveNetworks on the 25th
and participated by major stakeholders including In-sang Yoo, CEO of CJ
OliveNetworks, Hyung-woo Kim, CEO of Travel Wallet, Dae-seong Kim, CJ ONE
manager of CJ OliveNetworks, and Jae-won Lee, Chief Strategy Officer of Travel
Wallet.
The
MOU will create a sustainable collaboration model where ▲ the two companies
will link the CJ ONE service to the Travel Wallet platform to provide services
for domestic and foreign members, ▲ jointly build a member database to improve
payment convenience, and ▲ launch joint marketing campaign to attract more
members.
This
partnership allows CJ ONE members to make payments in the Travel Wallet app. After
receiving a CJ ONE barcode on the Travel Wallet app, you can use it to pay at
the offline stores of CJ ONE's 15 affiliated brands including Olive Young, CGV,
Tous Les Jours, and Mega MGC Coffee.
As
the first step of joint marketing efforts, the two companies will hold the
partnership celebration event until the beginning of August. When using a CJ
ONE barcode on Travel Wallet to pay, you can receive 1.5% of the transaction
amount as cashback.
This
partnership is especially meaningful in that the CJ ONE membership services are
extended to global users. The CJ ONE barcode payment service on Travel Wallet
will be provided to Korean members first, and the service will be expanded to
foreigners visiting Korea in the second half of this year.
"The
partnership with Travel Wallet is an important turning point to provide
seamless payment services to both domestic and foreign customers," said
In-sang Yoo, CEO of CJ OliveNetworks. "CJ ONE will continue to expand its
differentiated K-membership services to the global market by working together
with other partners."
"Through
this MOU, we built the foundation for making payments more convenient for
Travel Wallet customers in Korea," said Hyung-woo Kim, CEO of Travel
Wallet. "We will continue to strengthen our position in the domestic
payment market and provide differentiated benefits to our customers.”
CJ
ONE is continuously expanding its affiliate categories with major players in
the life, convenience, finance, and travel sectors, such as Mega MGC Coffee,
Yanolja Platform, and Lian hair.
