CJ OliveNetworks (CEO Kyung-bae Lee) has announced on February 16  the successful completion of the “tbs Traffic Broadcasting Equipment Purchase and Relocation Project” from last year.

The Project, which started April last year and took seven months to complete, focused on updating and expanding the existing TV, IPTV, radio, traffic collection, and analysis systems of the broadcasting service in line with its relocation to Sangam S-PLEX Center.

CJ OliveNetworks offered its expertise in not only relocating and installing the tbs TV’s production and broadcasting systems, but also expanding the existing technology to replace outdated equipment, achieve better performance, and enhance the system to the next level. Updates to the radio section featured an overhaul of the digital radio system and the web page / mobile app renewal to enhance the stability of the radio broadcast and the accessibility of its users.

A new Integrated Broadcasting Information System ensured improvements to the production of news and cultural programs, while improvements to the Network Production System (NPS) allowed the individual systems to be linked organically.

The introduction of the Multi-Contents Distribution Platform allowed the broadcasting contents of the tbs to be serviced through multiple media.

The successful overhaul and relocation of the tbs Broadcasting Service are a testimony to the expertise and skill of CJ OliveNetworks in operating and installing cutting-edge systems and its capability to quickly respond to the changing market demands.

CJ OliveNetworks plans to capitalize on the successful completion of the project and to actively seek out other projects in the media and broadcasting industries.
