CJ OliveNetworks announced on July 11th that it appointed Yoo In-sang, former managing director of LG CNS, as its new CEO.

 

An official from CJ OliveNetworks explained, "As CEO Cha In-hyuk expressed his resignation due to personal reasons, we appointed CEO Yoo In-sang as the next CEO to continue the innovative growth of CJ OliveNetworks."

 

New CEO Yoo is a global ICT expert with extensive experience in digital city & mobility businesses such as △digital platform (IoT, data hub), △digital space (smart building, smart farm), and △smart SOC businesses (smart city, smart transportation) at LG CNS.

 

In particular, he is recognized as the best smart city expert in the private sector in Korea who has overseen the national pilot city projects of Busan and Sejong City based on digital platforms and data.

 

With the appointment of new CEO Yoo, CJ OliveNetworks plans to systematically promote new businesses in the artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud and speed up expanding future businesses in the IT area.

 

In particular, CJ, a lifestyle culture company, plans to lead changes in customers' spaces and daily lives through digital DX innovation based on tangible and intangible assets such as lifestyle platforms and vast data owned by CJ.

 

Meanwhile, CJ OliveNetworks recorded KRW 665.2 billion in sales in 2022 by increasing its external competitiveness in various business areas such as AI factory, cloud, and digital marketing. Over the past two years, sales have increased by 50%, helping the company grow into a comprehensive digital service company.
