Songdo IDC has acquired the Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

The ISMS certification evaluates whether the firm in question has the necessary procedures, response schemes, and stability required to handle critical information assets. It is a benchmark of success and ability among communication service providers in Korea.

Songdo IDC is acritical facility where the group’s information security infrastructure is concentrated in.

At the same time, it is a critical communication infrastructure facility as designated by the Ministry of Science, ICT andFuture Planning. This certification attests to the Songdo IDC’s safety andsecurity capabilities.

After acquiringthe certification in 2013, Songdo IDC has maintained that certification through2 reviews. In 2016, it gained the certification for the next 3 years after passing the renewal inspection with flying colors.

This certification is seen as a powerful achievement and the product of continuous efforts at supplementing the short comings of the system, as well as a model case of information management and security.
