CJ OliveNetworks Supports AI Literacy Development for Elementary School Students Through 'AI Experience Activities'

CJ OliveNetworks has launched a technology education volunteer program, "Creating AI-Powered Voice Animations," aimed at improving digital literacy and expanding access to AI education for local youth.
Partnering with the Hyochang Community Welfare Center in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, the program provided hands-on generative AI training for elementary school students.
The program was designed for elementary school students with limited opportunities to engage with emerging digital technologies and AI-based learning experiences. The program encouraged students to move beyond passive technology use and actively participate in digital content creation, helping build foundational AI literacy skills, building their foundational AI literacy by directly engaging with advanced artificial intelligence tools.
During the workshop, CJ OliveNetworks employees paired up one-on-one with the students as tech mentors to co-create personalized "AI animation cards."

By reframing complex algorithmic tech into an engaging, playful format, the program successfully nurtured the students' AI literacy, boosting their confidence and capability in future tech environments as they proudly shared their creations with peers.
Looking ahead, CJ OliveNetworks plans to scale its educational outreach to digitally underserved communities. In the second half of the year, the company will introduce advanced modules combining AI tools with 3D pens, alongside community-centric projects like designing AI-powered local mascots, theme songs, and merchandise to continuously reinforce regional AI literacy.
